Union County Engineer crews have started roadside widening
work on Mulvane Road in Richwood. The section of roadway, between SR37 and
Grove Street, will be improved over the next several weeks. Road ditches and
shoulders will be widened to help improve safety, drainage and future
maintenance.
Select trees in the road right-of-way will also be removed
along both sides to help eliminate hazards. One lane of traffic will be
maintained during working hours, with some very limited road closures. Work is
expected to be completed by October 20th.
