The first major task that the student council was responsible for was the Project Pride Assembly. The assembly was held on Sept. 25. The assembly awarded medals to students earning the Wildcat Way and Student of the Month for each grade level. The assembly also honored the teachers. Walmart donated twenty $50.00 gift cards that were awarded to teachers via a drawing. The school also accepted a generous donation from Walmart for $2,000.00 which will be used to offset the cost of a culminating activity for grades 3-5 and a field trip for grades K-2.
