Thank You

November 11 signifies a day when we, as proud Americans, take the time to officially say, "Thank You." Thank you to all the men, women and their families for answering the call to serve our country in the nation's military.  The celebration hosted at North Union Elementary witnessed a record number of participants.  Our students sang patriotic songs, read patriotic poems and stood proudly to cheer for the men and women of our community that served in the armed forces.  This year's keynote speaker, Justin Monroe a retired Senior Airman, reminded us to take the time to stop a veteran, look him or her in the eyes, and say thank you.  So today, and every day, we at North Union Elementary stand tall and salute all that have served and those that have supported them. Thank you.
