Impacting The World

Mrs. Marquis' 5th grade writing students recently completed a unit of persuasive writing. At the conclusion of the study, students chose a company or business to write a letter of persuasion to convince the business to make changes to their services or products. Students have been receiving replies to their letters and anxiously await the day their response arrives. The letters have been a real world experience for the students to see the impact of writing and how they can make a difference in their global communities. The letters are on display in the 5th grade hallway.
