Mrs. Jolliff has implemented "Word Work Wednesday" for a center. On this day, students get to wear the construction gear and "work" on trick words (sight words). Individualized lists help them work on the words they need to master. Students use hands-on activities to make their words, such as letter cookie cutters to spell words with play dough, magnetic letters on metal trays, stamping the words on paper, and stenciling the word.
