DARE Graduation
DARE Graduation Deputy Rich Crabtree led a wonderful graduation ceremony where parents, staff and local law officials honored the fifth graders for completing the DARE program.  DARE stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education, and the program has a strong component of  resisting violence as well. Superintendent Rich Baird spoke to the students as did Matt Craig. Student essay winners read their compositions and other students were winners of the Daren drawings.   Many people helped with the DARE program, but special note should be given to Deputy Crabtree, Sheriff Patton, the Union Co. commissioners and Social Studies teacher Brooke Keever.
