Close Reading
Students are using chrome books combined with a Storywork's nonfiction article for a close reading lesson. The students have followed along while listening to the article three times. Then, they had to re-read the text to find text features, text evidence and answer a close reading critical thinking question. Close Reading is a reading strategy designed to help students be analytical about the text they read.
