North Union Elementary Welcomes Firefighters
Firefighters from North Union County Fire and Emergency brought a fire truck for students to see. They also spoke about fire safety and prevention.
Other safety items to remember:
*with your family, plan an escape route from your home as well as a meeting spot
*changing clocks for daylight savings time is a good time to also replace the battery in your smoke detector
*replace smoke detectors every ten years
*if your clothes are on fire, stop, drop and roll to put out the flames
