Competing against 34 teams from around the nation, the North Union FFA Agronomy team earned national runner-up status in both a team exercise and an individual problem to evaluate agronomic scenarios and develop a crop management plan that includes crop selection, production and problem solving and marketing.
The North Union FFA team, coached by Jared Evans, earned the national FFA runner-up status at the FFA national convention in Indianapolis.
Their individual ranks are as follows: Lilly Taylor received second place individually, Mack Plotner received fifth place individually, Owen Hall received a gold rating individually, and Cammie Shenkle received a silver rating individually.
