Dear North Union Digital Academy Families:
We are planning to continue a digital academy option for the 2021-22 school year; however, the digital academy will look very different from the 2020-21 North Union Digital Academy.
PLEASE NOTE the following changes to the Digital Academy for 2021-22:
1. We are looking at creating a consortium with the other districts in our county where all three schools would work together (Fairbanks, Marysville, and North Union).
2. We will use a vendor/program for the curriculum.
3. At the elementary, there will no longer be one teacher designated for each grade level. The middle school and high school will no longer have digital periods. Instead, teachers will serve as facilitators of the vendor/program used.
4. We are asking for a one semester commitment.
*In order to best plan for next year, we are looking at numbers. Please keep the changes listed above in mind as you make your decision.
