I want to first thank you and your students for your patience and flexibility during this time of uncertainty. I know that we are all feeling a little anxious about moving to online learning and the overall disruption to our lives. Please know that as a school district we are committed to keeping you informed and providing instruction with integrity. Students will begin online learning on March 30th which is the Monday following spring break. Teachers will be communicating this Wednesday and Thursday about how and when students will be accessing their online classes. Students need to be checking their email regularly for updates from their teachers.
Spectrum is offering free internet service for 60 days. If you do not have internet service, visit the district website http://www.n-union.k12.oh.us/ and click on Coronavirus Closure - Support Information. If you need paper copies of schoolwork, please call the high school office beginning Tuesday morning at 10 am. We will have paper copies available on March 30th for pick up.
Breakfast and lunch will be available for all NU students It is a grab and go style food service. Delivery locations are posted on the district website http://www.n-union.k12.oh.us/ under Coronavirus Closure - Support Information.
All of us are experiencing disruption to our daily routines causing anxiety, fear, depression, etc. If you or your child would like to talk to a counselor, please see the Coronavirus Closure- Support Information posted on the district webpage http://www.n-union.k12.oh.us/ to access counseling resources. Teachers and guidance counselors will be reaching out to students regularly to express our care for them and maintain connection. Even though we are not together at school, we want our students to feel valued and loved by their North Union family.

Take care and have your students check their school email on Wed & Thurs for instructions. Online learning will begin on March 30th. Packets for those without internet service can be picked up on March 30th.
