Hello Wildcat Families,

We are hosting a Military and First Responder Appreciation Night, at our home football game on October 2nd, to honor the brave men and women who keep our community safe and secure.

We want to show our deep gratitude by giving them special appreciation gift baskets during the event. We are asking for basket donations from our Wildcat Family to help make this possible. Basket ideas can include: tailgate grilling kit, BBQ rubs, movie night, coffee lover’s, NU fan gear, cooler/lawn chairs, cornhole, bluetooth speaker, red/white/blue americana/American flag, gift cards…just to name a few. Feel free to include a handwritten thank you note for the veteran/first responder who will receive your basket.

Drop-Off Details:
Where: North Union High School Main Office
When: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Deadline for Donations: Wednesday, September 30, 2026

Thank you to all our families for a fantastic start to the new school year! Even with the fog and rain trying to trip us up, our staff and students continue to put their best foot forward every single morning. As we all settle into our back-to-school routines, here are a few quick updates and reminders: Drop-Off Procedures: Thank you for carefully following our morning drop-off guidelines to keep traffic moving smoothly and our students safe. All cars must go through the loop to drop-off. For safety, do not park and walk in front of or between the busses. Free Breakfast for All: Breakfast is 100% free for every student every day. No student will ever be denied breakfast—even if they arrive a few minutes late, we will make sure they get to sit down in the cafeteria and enjoy their meal. Grace & Patience: Morning traffic and back-to-school rhythms take a little time to master. Please continue to practice grace and patience as everyone adjusts. In the classrooms, our students are learning about what makes our Wildcat family so special, focusing on 3 Simple Rules to make this year incredible: Take care of yourself Take care of each other Take care of this place Thank you for your continued support, partnership, and energy. No Supply Lists or School Fees: Basic classroom supplies and K–8 fees are covered this year thanks to our Board of Education!

Free Breakfast for All: Every Wildcat can start their morning ready to learn with free breakfast daily.

Open House & Popsicles on the Playground: Join us August 10th & 11th to meet teachers, tour classrooms, and grab a popsicle on the playground while checking out our new outdoor classroom and gardens! See details in newsletter.
