North Union Local Schools currently uses a telephone, email and text message broadcast system called Instant Connect to notify households and parents of emergency or unplanned events and to communicate general announcements or reminders. The contact database has been updated to sync with the district’s Student Information System (ProgressBook). Currently, only the phone numbers and email addresses of the student’s
legal guardian(s) will receive notifications. And all contact phone numbers will receive
both voice calls and text messages by default. As a legal guardian contact for your student, you can add additional phone numbers or email addresses to receive notifications and you can change your notification preferences by accessing the new
Notification Portal. You will need to enter your email address that you have on file with the district, then click the “Existing Account” button. You will receive an email with a link to review your settings.
If you need to change your primary phone number or email address on file, please contact your student’s school.
