Veterans Day Assembly

Students invited family members and friends to come to our assembly honoring and thanking our veterans.  Mrs. Borders, event organizer and master of ceremonies, read each of the visiting veterans' names and listed their connection to students and staff at NUES.  Fifth grade students read poems and students sang various patriotic songs.  Mrs. Willey, first grade teacher, and her daughter, Layla, introduced the guest speaker, Thank you to everyone who helped organize the event and welcome our veterans to NUES.
